I looked into prices for buying each item needed to make a guitar similar to the kit I bought, as you can see the prices vary depending on the quality of the products, these prices are from sites i have looked at on the internet and some may differ from manufacturer. First I took the lowest prices and the result was £816, but for the higher quality £933. The quality of the wood for the guitar does make a difference to the sound of the guitar as the harder the wood the better the sound, also the electrics make a difference varying on the quality of the pickups.
